Help! I need help to identify this musicman bass

Hi guys, recently I acquired this musicman bass from my buddy. He told me that this is A Musicman Stingray EX HH made in Japan 1998. I have tried to google it but none came up. According to another friend, this one is a Stingray 4 with Pickup and Bridge modification. Please check through the pictures. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks a ton!

I'd say Japanese and, as such, wont be on the EB data base.

Email EB customer service to make sure and quote serial number:

I believe they could let you know who to contact.

I note there is no pickup selector and the logo is not correct.

IMO the whole decal is sitting too low. The lower part of the "g" in "StingRay" is on the verge of disappearing under the headstock (unless it's the angle of the pic).

The decal also appears to be sitting too far towards the end of the headstock.

The pickup selector might be - the hard to see - mini switch near the volume knob.
Looks like a no factory build.

Thanks for the response, actually there is a mini switch for pickup selector. I will try to contact musicman support then. Thank you very much for the help.
