I need help with my JP50

hello everyone,
i purchased a jp50 yesterday. its a great guitar, but i am having issues with the high e string. i broke a total of 3 High e strings since yesterday(!) when doing bends.
i noticed they all broke before touching the saddle, on the contact point with the main piece of the bridge I guess.

so what would you suggest to fix this problem?

What size pick are you using? I found switching from Heavy to Medium made a world of difference.

I am using jazz III. i don't think it is the problem, i never had that problem because of picks. this happens between the bridge and the saddle, so i think something may be too sharp in the bridge that could damage the strings.

are u using 10s or 09s? i only needed to switch up to 10s and never broke a string again. or maybe you should just have your guitar checked. either way, we can't tell, across teh internets.

sounds like you have a burr or rough edge on the saddle or from the hole in the baseplate.
