Before you shoot off with "contact customer support", yes, I've done that as you'll read in just a bit:

Hi, my high E piezo is busted...contacted EBMM support, and got contact info to the suppliers here in Norway. The suppliers of course only sell to dealers, so I contacted the EBMM dealers...non carried, and neither did the supplier...and the dealers wanted to install it on the guitar, which meant 200$ out of the pocket for my part. No thanks

I've done what EBMM CS told me, but that's just not the way I want to go. Too much time, too much $ in order to fix a small problem like that.

So, are there ANY WAYS for me to fix this problem? Give some ideas here.
Any 3rd party parts that would fit? etc.

Thanks!

Order it through a dealer, disconnect the plug-on connector for the piezo unit, take the tremolo system off your guitar, strip the tremolo down, remove the broken saddle, then hand your dealer the carcass/trem unit and ask them to solder the new one on? That should save a bit right there...

Just keep in mind that there is really no money to be made by a dealer selling parts (especially if there is a distributor involved), which is most likely why they want to install it and charge you for the labor. If they don't make money then they won't be there the next time you need a specialty part that can't simply be ordered online...
