Steve, clappers are nice! I'll get my Grandmas for Arin. She has never used the one I got her for X-mas in 1993. I'm sure we can rig it to the pickups somehow.

im just imagining this and laughing ... i play with a pick and sometimes i get super aggressive and just beat the bass senseless. i can just here the poor HS switching 36,000 times/song ... what if the clapper fell off? i could use it as a stomp box ... hmmm, we may be on to something here; a hands free pup switch. i wonder if a lightbulb just went off in Dudley's head

IIRC, Vigier came up with this on their Excalibur Memory Guitar. One could store pickup, tone and volume settings and select them via MIDI.
