...and I want one, badly. It's the first time I've heard a two-band eq, and now I know why it's so highly desired! The neck is just plain sweet, the radius feels so nice, and I prefer the gloss finish.

Just one question - when will the trans white finish be launched?

Less is more!

To my ears, the two band sounds so much smoother and less "processed," if that makes sense. It nails that Steve Miller Band bass sound.

I don't think that colour's an option at the moment, although there was at least one that was made and is now owned by a forum member.

That one-off is why I'm patiently waiting for the good word to be announced! I must say the tobacco burst/maple combo is gorgeous. I'd love to see a Classic honeyburst, too, that would make a purchase decision that much more complicated!

With my good old Brownie I played with a country and a bluesrock band, with a singer/songwriter, with a three lead guitar southern rock band and and. It did fit in every band sound. Don't need to mention acts like Bernie Edwards (R.I.P.), Men At Work, Kim Clarke, Cliff Williams...

I played another CC SR4 at a GC closer to my house today, and I am full of GAS. The necks on these basses are simply perfection!

Brilliant move to reissue the vintage stingray. Old-school neck radius, string through body, vintage logo; I guess it's time to whip out my credit card!

I'm new to the forum (hi everyone) but a long time fan of Ernie Ball.
