At last nights not that great Rough Justice gig, I played the Stoners new Axis. This guitar is awesome! The finish is amazing! It played so well, I would have happily done the whole gig with it without adjusting a thing! And the sound was great! The Stoner got a great sound out of it!

However, it was the first time I had played a Floyd equipped Axis. I have played hard tails from day one practically and the whole thing seems an alien concept! Its great for making wacky noises, but I dont think I could use one! Seems a lot of hassle for making motorbike noises! Mind you, The Stoner got some great sounds out of it!

Here is the man in action!

that guy in the background looks a little suspicious...;)

That's HOG our singer - he's a great guy.

The Axis was glorious and looks like being my No 1 guitar from now on. It sounded great and played really nicely. Only prob was I broke a top E near the end of our second set, and I NEVER break strings, hope this doesn't mean there's sharp edge on the floyd somewhere.

Hog went to a childrens zoo and they had a weight machine where you can compare yourself to the weight of an animal. He weighed the same as a Warthog!

BTW, his wife weighed the same as a beaver, but luckily she is known as Emma!
