I gotta say I really like the textured paint finish on the SUB-1. No worries about smudges and scratches. It feels good and plays good. The SUB-1 has become top dog now. The poplar body sings and the neck shape is superb. I never liked trem bridges until this guitar. The musicman vintage trem is the BEST!

Mike, your cinnamon Sub is really a sweet looking axe. I need that color. I too will say that I never bonded with a tremolo until I got my Sub, isn't that strange? I play my blackie every day and it's the best guitar I've ever had to this point. Well, except for my blue one, it's the best too.. LOL they're all the best. I'm looking forward to opening the box tomorrrow and checking out my newest graphite.
Cheers to you and your Sub!

I bought one for my son as his first "real" guitar and was blown away by everything about it. Huge under rated sleeper in the EBMM stable of great guitars.

My new SUB1 has my PRS and my '77 LP Goldtop collecting dust right now. I'm in awe of the quality and playability that I got at the price I paid. I've gotta keep my eyes open to pick up another one.

When they first came out I went, meh. But then I liked flashy flame tops and all that glitters........now I know better. Substance!!!!!!!!!

The Sub series is all EBMM without FLUFF!
