While I still have hopes for some insight, I know full well that my best shot was on Saturday in Dallas.

What was the impetus for the Bongo 6, and has anything progressed past the mention in the thread?

It's obviously not a reality for NAMM in January, but is it a possibility for Summer NAMM?

I ask because I want one, and I want one in Blue Dawn and I am wondering if the two options will coincide, or not....

If it's too early to begin disclosing information of any type, I fully understand.

both the sterling 5 and the Bongo six will be duboted at the summer show. We have the BFRs the anniversary sr5, bfrs, blue dawn LE and just too much stuff at anaheim and these would get lost so we have decided to give them their proper focus and attention in Austin

LOL! It's called agreeing to Jongitarz suggestions. :D

I remember accosting BP in a state of extreme refreshment :)o :D ) and begging him to give me some details. I told him I would not tell anyone and I am good to my word. Even though I was extremely refreshed I remember exactly what he said about it. He didn't tell me everything just a few morsels. I think you guys will like it.

'Course we don't know what's in store for the SR5 20th (do we?).

Bold predictions:

1) It will have a 4+1 headstock.
2) It will have 5 strings and come with EBMM Slinkys as standard equipment.
3) It will be made of wood.
4) It will have active electronics.
5) It will have at least one pickup.

Extra, super-risky prediction:

- Multiple pickups will not be an option.

You heard it here first.... :p

You insiders are cruel to those of us not in the know. Very, very cruel. I weep.

If it sports a solid rosewood neck then I'll open my wallet.
Well... I'll probably open it anyway :p
