While I still have hopes for some insight, I know full well that my best shot was on Saturday in Dallas.

What was the impetus for the Bongo 6, and has anything progressed past the mention in the thread?

It's obviously not a reality for NAMM in January, but is it a possibility for Summer NAMM?

I ask because I want one, and I want one in Blue Dawn and I am wondering if the two options will coincide, or not....

If it's too early to begin disclosing information of any type, I fully understand.

both the sterling 5 and the Bongo six will be duboted at the summer show. We have the BFRs the anniversary sr5, bfrs, blue dawn LE and just too much stuff at anaheim and these would get lost so we have decided to give them their proper focus and attention in Austin

joel no secrets I have already on other threads explained the sterling 5...of set body smaller neck contour just a sportier version of the sr5 and the sr5 is not being changed...I cant figure out what one has to do with the other

Even though I was extremely refreshed I remember exactly what he said about it. He didn't tell me everything just a few morsels. I think you guys will like it.

Bummer. Really prefer maple fingerboards with Blue Dawn which rules out the Bongo, and I was hoping...

I'm more concerned about the 20th than the Sterling 5 at the moment. Of course, i'm a SR5 snob so my opinion REALLY doesn't matter.
