ERIC JOHNSON

OMG!

I'm watching his Live from Austin DVD. Taped in the late 80's off of Austin City Limits.

His tone, phrasing, chord voicings, picking, scales, and composing are unfreaking believable on this DVD.

A must own.

Eric Johnson is simply fabulous. Who do I wish I could play like or at least have the talents of.......the list is endless to say the least, but I will mention the following and in no particular order:

Morse, Petrucci, Luke, Lee, Johnson, Yngwie (yes, I know!), kbaim, Lane, King, Healey, Beck....and so on....

I will have to check out the DVD. Johnson is always a good show to watch.

Keith, I'm a huge EJ fan and have many live DVDs of the man. Also worth checking out is the new EJ instructional DVD thats just been released and another more current live DVD is in the works.

I don't wish anything. I'm glad I can play at a decent level and enjoy what I'm doing. Spread a little sunshine. If you're a decent guitar player, chances are somebody wishes they could play like you.

MUST HAVE DVD though he´s not EBMM man but his sound is the best but would be on every other guitar because it´s in his brain and fingers.
But it would be less harder for him on an Eric Johnson EBMM signature guitar:))

If this is THE ART OF GUITAR, I just ordered it.

Thanks for the tip, Collin. :)
