Well it only took 7 years but i finally did it. The 5 way on my black silo gave up the ghost last week. I tend to switch pickup selections pretty aggressively sometimes. Keith even mentioned he was concerned when I was playing his Steve Morse. I don't think I am abusing these things, just using them. Still, I love slamming it up to the neck position for jon's favorite sound and it finally quit making the connection. I took it to my favorite tech and he put a new one in. I hope no one is surprised about this.

I am having it restrung with 10's this time too. We'll see what I think about them after years of 9's

I was wondering what those things do. After watching NorM, now I know!

I gotta go check and see if he broke mine now

I havn't played any of my other guitars since I got my axis. Tonight I pulled out the epi lp custom with 10's and was having some trouble. Man it just takes less effort with 9's. Good luck with the 10's.

I always use protection. In the form of locking the door.

I think 7 years is fantastic. Raz has a goal of having a refret before he dies, so for me to wear something out is really a point of pride. I'm kinda proud.

OK, 1 switch down and 7 (soon to be 8) to go. I am gonna have so much fun wearing these things out cause:

That's amazing,
funny cause up until just recently I was always a bridge pick up kind of guy...I would wait for stray women to stumble home then as they would cross the bridge near my place, I would make my move...WTF, no that's not what I meant...
anyway but seriously I never, ever under any circumastance used any other position, than the old standard missionary pos...

Oh man I must have had one too many at lunch, what I am trying to say is before my Pet came along I only played with myself cause I didn't have a pet to play with...

now this is getting out of hand, I need to get this thing back in control, into my hand again so I can...
