I've won the Ernie Ball Jack LaLanne award (I was sent a framed certificate and pic that they prepared had I shown at the open house), and while I've dreamed of this for a very long time and worked really hard at attaining it - there are a number of people I feel without whom which this would have never been possilbe:
Big Poppa - without you I wouldn't even be here. If it weren't for your creation I'd have never posed naked for the shot that won me the award.
Ernie1966 - he's over on the guitar side of the fence, but about 5 years ago I was flabby and out of shape, and we played in a band together. He pushed my ass into the gym and learned me lots about creating the body that now proudly wears BP's head.
PsychoWard - for giving me a clear advantage with his gutsy trying to outdo me.
Brian - for pushing me to become a part of this wonderful forum, and for all the friendly support he's given me over the past year.
JonGuitars - for helping me feel safe about bashing my bongos around. messing them up, and getting various stains on the backs.
Mobay - for being the only guy here that bought my CD. And said nice things about it too. And for that great open house post that kept me really entertained for 2 days.
Bovinehost - who has been my Bongo inspiration since the start of it all. What started out as insane jealousy has blossomed into a respect that I can't even put into words. So I won't.
Azia - who I didn't know until I was PMed by her last week telling me that EB had this little surprise waiting for me.
Everyone else here at this forum and even a few peeps over at TB. My appologies for anyone I may have forgotten to name specifically as my clothes are done in the dryer and I'll get my ass kicked by the others in the building if I don't get them out now. Thanks everyone, mom and dad, and of course god.
