What do you mean by 'cut more out of the g string tuning peg.."? I know I'm just looking at it the wrong way, but that sentance looks scary.

its all good. i just like to take it out and it be still in tune, the way it was cut, the tuner would turn so i just cut a bit out and now its perfect.

tho, when its just local shows or rehearsal, i use the skb, because it weighs like 30 lbs.

I hear ya. I love the expression on everybody's face when I grab my bass out of it's case and they ask if I need to tune it, and of course, since my basses are all MM's at this point, I nonchalantly reply "No, it's fine". And of course... It's fine. Man I love Music Man's.

most of the time i tune anyway. depending on when i last played and what not, but it is always nice to not have a gig bag.

also, as far as what he can make, he can pretty much make anything, something might take longer, because he gets cut outs of all the bass' first. so if you contact him, im sure he can hook it up. my flight case for my stingray was 239.99
