A dead mint axis hardtail with maple board in sunburst - what would it be worth - not a scratch on it, I am thinking of selling it to fund another silo, they fit my playing better and besides Im gonna keep my other axis for variety, anyway what do you guys think it would be worth, they are sort of rare arent they?

Yes, they're sort of "rare" because they were only made a couple years, but in my experience they don't generally sell for any more than the average used Axis Super Sport hardtail. Even an EVH hardtail - tho' quite rare as well - seldom sells for as much as a floyd-equipped version in the same finish...

I would tend to disagree with the statement that the Hardtail EVH sells for less than a Floyd equipped one. The reason that I disagree is the fact that so few were produced. Less than 200 red and gold were produced and less that 100 purple were made with the hardtail option. Originally they did sell for less, but I think it was a difference of $100 or so.
