I've just tuned up my EBJP using itouch Peterson application and my question is if thats ok when im around one cent when tuning Intonation?

Btw this application seems to be very accurate. Any opinions?Comparisons with original one?

If you're within 1 cent, that's going to be really good. I usually go for about .5 cent or less, but within 1 cent is more than accurate enough.

Just as an addition:

1 cent = .01 semitone or 1/100th of a semitone.
1 semitone = 1/2 step or 1 fret

Peterson tuners are accurate up to .1 cents. That means, they are accurate up to 1/1000 of a semitone.

Try to get the virtual strobe bands to lock in place. It is possible with enough patience and practice! See the Peterson forum for tips.

I use Strobostomp, StroboFlip, and Strobosoft 2 Deluxe (for critical intonation work). Yes, I am an admitted tuning fanatic. I am a Buzz Feiten fan, but I like the EBMM compensated nut equally well (I wish EB had introduced it before I Feitenized all my earlier Balls .... but it's all good.:))

If you are contemplating the deeper mysteries of tuning guitars, you might find this interesting (I am not the author, but I learned a lot from these articles):

GUITAR TUNING NIGHTMARES EXPLAINED

Balls are the best, but a perfectly in-tune Ball is even better!

I think that Phatty and Beej might use this. I'm not an IPhone owner/user, so you got me, but it sounds like a great idea!!

Yep- I have the Peterson app for the iPhone (and the cable). It's awesome- always have a tuner handy for when I jam, and can leave the Strobostomp at home. For 10 bucks it can't be beat :)

I find them to be equally accurate, btw. Ideal for adjusting intonation.

Now if it only made me a better player ...
