I just put a deposit on this baby with Beaver at Bass Central. :D

I've never bought anything from Bass Central, but Beaver was very flexible, and he even gave me a great price on a new GB Shuttle 9.0 head.

I should have the rest of the funds together in about 30 days. This bass really has me psyched to get back out gigging again.

What do you guys think of the Hss vs the HH config?

Either way, I'm not changing my mind....:p

John, you're going to love it! Glad you're getting back into the swing brother... very nice way to make a re-entrance.

I can personally tell you that Beaver and everyone at Bass Central are real, down to earth, and caring people. They will take great care of you. I got my 25th Anniversary from them last year. I will only purchase my instruments from BC - which requires a 3 hour drive!

As for configs; I got the HSS and love it!

Congrats and glad you are getting back in the saddle :)

John... glad to hear you are making it back into the fold. You will love the HSS, played a few in 4's and 5's and loved them. JOSH

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. I also appreciate the insight on the HH/Hss differences, so keep them coming. I promise pics when the bass arrives. :D
