I recently drove from Wilmington, NC all the way to Bass Central and bought a Sterling Silver SR5 H and a Natural SR 4 H 2 Band from them. I also picked up a Mesa Boogie 212 with an M6 Carbine as the head while I was there. My friend who went with me picked up the Mesa M3 version in a single 12 and loved the experience. I have been there a number of times including my trip down last year to get my own 25th Anniversary, and have always gotten the best service you could hope to get. Beaver and crew are first class all the way and I can not recommend them highly enough! Good call on the dealer and the bass. I personally prefer the HH model but I probably played the 25th you are getting (I played all the ones BC had!!!) and you are going to love her!
Congratulations and play her in good health!

Peace,

T

Well I hope you didn't play my bass, as Beaver told me it has never left the case except to be photographed. :D

As for the HSS, you could butter cornbread with the two front single coils they are so smooth and rich, you have no idea! "Smack yo' mama" it tastes so good. I personally love the PUP combo. The H and middle S can do a punchy warm tone that is very nicely textured as well. Lots of great options.

Well I'm working to get at least a few of the 8 EBMM's I had. I let them all go due to financial difficulties. I will probably NEVER have that many again, but a few hopefully.

Hey John,
Here's to hoping the next MM bass purchase occurs quickly.

If I go with the bass that's in stock, it should occur next week. My wife wants me to order one with a MAPLE board as she knows that's what I REALLY want, but I'm not so sure if I can wait another 3 to 4 months.

Thanks for the congrats, but if you read back a little bit, you'll see that deal fell through. I'm now considering possibly a Reflex 5, or a used 25th 5 HH. Still deciding....
