I got bored last weekend and have been thinking about modding my 88 teal SR4 with a series/parallel switch for a while since it had the bartolini already installed when I got the bass. I figured why not use my knowledge and do something creative that would make me happy. So I picked up the smallest Double Pole Double Throw 2 way toggle switch I could find, drew a schematic and in about an hour I had exactly what I set out to do...the switch works great and really opens up the tonal range of the pickup I even made the mounting hole clean on the control plate after I knew that my switch worked...I found the mod very useful
