i would love to hear some audio samples if anyone has any coz im super keen to get one!

p.s i know its got a classic vibe to it but i could see someone like Marty Friedman playing it, to me it has a kinda metal shape if that makes any sense, love it!
whats everyone else's thoughts now?

I am dying to see a video of the Armada as well, chances are I will never get to play one in the UK before I ordered one so would be nice to see it in action. I would also really love to see how it hangs (control yourselves lads) when played standing up.

My dad who I have said before is very much stuck on the classic F and G guitars and appreciates the quality of my MM guitars but would never buy one himself saw the Namm pictures and went nuts over it, he is seriously thinking about buying one he loves the design so much.

Personally I absolutely love the Armada, it looks classic, futuristic, different truly unique. The only thing I wonder is how I would get on with the finished neck.

BP why don't you do all fo us fanboys a favour and send Dwells one, that way we he make sure we get a decent demo!

I think it's an instant classic. The lighter colors give it a retro look, while darker colors indeed push the looks in metal territory!
would love to try it one day, but not counting on it happening here in Europe...

They are awesome. The pickups are lively without being overly bright and they have a good amount of low end. I wouldn't classify them as ultra-high-output but they are not weak or vintage-like.

Hearing someone at the show demoing the guitar through an amp was amazing - when he ripped onto the neck pickup it just about killed me. It sounded huge without being dark or muddy and the clarity/articulation was amazing.

I'm hoping ours arrive in April!

The more i look at the Armada and think about it... HOW could it be anything but Spectacular.

I could list the reasons why... but we all know EBMM is top shelf

Yeah, I'm really suprised that there aren't any namm videos of the guitar in action.

When I saw it in the new Guitar World yesterday, I hated it! All I could think was that I should buy one as an investment, because they are gonna bomb big time! But, maybe not.

I think it should be named "the converter", because so many people initially disliked it but then changed their mind once they saw more of it.

But hey it's all about choice. Look at the Armada, Axis, JPs, AL, Reflex, and LIII, is there another company that offers such a varied range of HH guitars? Nobody will like all of them and the Armada is pretty daring in many ways so I think opinion will be pretty polarised, and that's ok (provided we're not party poopers, eh?) :)

Thanks raul, looks like different pickups but I love the sound off it, besides the guys bizarre style off playing,
I need this guitar, it's SEX.

Sometimes I look at it and it's like everything a Flying V or Explorer should have been but way classier and without the annoying body shape or hangover from 80's metal to limit it to any genre. Metal, rock, blues, jazz, it's all there.

So, any bets on who we'll see touring with one first? Joe Bonamassa? Joe Walsh? Any other Joe's?

Keep in mind the pickups used in that last clip are not the same pickups that we showed at NAMM. We had a lot of fun in between Musikmesse and NAMM testing and A/B'ing Dudley's creations.

Those pickups sound good though! Really have a great bass/mid to them. It would be great to hear this guitar with an orange amp.
