This is classic stuff. It has a whole lot more to do with wanting to be a rock star than it does with wanting to be a musician.

I remember those days... when form was more important than substance. I have to say I never tried that move, though. I'm so short the headstock would probably whack the ground anyway.

Wow, just wow is all I can say. I bet Mommy and Daddy probably were the ones who bought him the bass too. Not only was masking tape being used as strap locks a horrible idea but he was way to close to the wall as well.

We didn't hear him play, it may have been a stroke of good luck for the bass community if the bass was beyond repair!

It reminds me if the 80's, big hair, spandex , electric fans at the front ofthe stage spinning my bass all over the place the band was called "dead ringer" fun times !

Reminds me of my 1982ish failed attempt at a DLR-like flying splits with bass in tow.................end of comment.
