It will be a surprise but I have a couple of extra's here. Black and tort. I think MOP would look the best but I have that on my honey burst already. I bought this one sight unseen from Steve at VBTC because of the Trans-Orange/Maple combo.

Jim

It had a MOP on it when I shipped it. So I'm guessing that's what it still has on it.

Got it Steve and thanks!!! I just got home and unpacked it and it's a beaut. Hell I didn't even know it had a matching HS and I dig the hell out of it. Initial observations...the neck feels a tad chunkier than my 95' but that's cool. Anyone know the year on this one? I'm certainly no expert on Sterlings but I'm becoming a fanatic....note to my wallet....I need to set it up to my liking and I think I may put a set of TI flats on this one!!! But it's late and I need to just play it. The grain and color gorgeous as well. BTW thanks for posting the pic. I like the MOP PG on it but for the sake of some difference I may go with black on this one. Great deal Steve VBTC rocks!!!

Looks great Jim. I like the tort better than the black, too. Did you put those flats on yet?

So, does this mean I need to make another trip to Miami? Ya know, you could bring it up here for the gig on the 28th, and let me play it - hint hint. We could A_B it against my '78 'Ray???

Congrats!!

For years orange was my favorite color.

Then I decided blue was my favorite after working a job for a couple of years where I had to move a lot of orange 55 gallon drums around.

I think I've just rediscovered my long lost love for the color orange!

Great looking bass.

Thanks Jim and that's a great idea. I did put the flats on it already and I'd be glad to bring it along to your gig on the 28th. Thanks Bro'

I did work like that for years and those 55 gallon drums when full are a mofo'. I got a bad lower back as a reminder but you should indulge yourself again. This is a killer color/neck combo;)
