My Bongo arrived at DuBaldo's yesterday and is now on it's way to me.

Big Big thanks to Pete...

My favorite two-word phrase in the English language is, "Yes, Jack."

But for a three-word phrase, it's hard to beat, "Out for Delivery".

It's here!!! I'm waiting for a set of EB straplocks, but I'm not going to be able to resist taking it to rehearsal tonight. :D:D:D

very nice!
I'm loving that colour more and more as i see it

Thanks...and it looks even better in person. I'm not going to try and take any pics of it myself because I think that Pete's pics are a pretty close representation, but like I said...it looks even better in person.

Also, I just plugged it into my Markbass rig and I only have two words for it...Tone Monster.

To Lord Bongo and all the Bongoloids...I'm a believer.

Knobs on all Bongos are plastic.

I suspect mainly because they have ganged pots for the tone controls. That'd be harder to achieve in metal. I am making an educated guess here though. The plastic would also assist in keeping the weight down (a little) which is a feature of the Bongo.

Of course.. all speculative.

Not plastic...:p

But not standard either...probably would be more cost involved in making them gold.

I, for one, am glad the knobs on mine are black.
