Info request - Steve Morse model w/ tremolo bridge

Hi all...

I need any info about this guitar !

EBMM Steve Morsel model (year, seller say 1988 ?? bridge type (it not a floyd or is) ??)

I have only this pic. Guitar comes w/ hardshell, and have a tremolo bridge.

Current price is R$ 4200 (aprox. Us$ 2500).

I´ll contact seller to make an test-drive.

Well, why don't You try to ask some of the official Brazilian retailers - 3500 seems much too high a price to me. And 2500 for a used standard Morse, even though it is a rather rare one with the old tremolo, is much too much, too.

So, my advice is - either try the official retailers in Brazil (whoever they are, You will surely ind it out here), or ... try something like E-Bay. I've bought all of my guitars there, except, ironically, for the Morse - and I'm VERY happy with the guitars AND the price

Maybe you will ask the seller for ther serial, so you can post it here and will get the exactly day of birth.
I think it is a Kahler tremolo, but I´m not sure, if a original or a Kahler-like was used.

The price seems real high, but I have no idea about pricing in brasil

Where is the rest of the SMOC? Give him the answers he needs

Looks like that Morse has the original trem bridge that EBMM used back in the 1980s. I have to admit this is the first Morse I've seen with one, but I've seen plenty of Silhouettes with them. It isn't a Kahler, it was made by Schaller. It was also marketed by Schecter here in the USA circa 1984-86 and used on their guitars as well.

My 89 has one of those bridges.It is a shaller.Hope this helps.

The tremolo is a Schaller, this was before we started using the Gotoh FR bridges. We have never used Kahler tremolos on production models.
