Information about my Silhouette Special

Hy,

First, thanks for the forum, I could find information but not all the information I'm looking for.

I would like to know the year of production of my used Silhouette Special I bought 3 month ago in Paris (France). The serial number is G06811. Some guys say the two first digits give the year but 06 don’t match any possible year.

I also would like to know if it’s a custom Silhouette Special made by Music Man or a normal Silhouette Special customised by a previous owner. I ask this question because it looks like a Luke by the colour and the EMG pickups. But it’s a Silhouette Special with the name printed on the head and a red/brown pickguards.

It is a Silhouette Special made on 7/26/99 The color is Platinum, and it did not leave here with EMG's
