This came home with me the other night. I'd had it on layaway for about three months and finally paid it off! GC was letting the two they had go for REAL cheap since the salesmen can't sell them to save their lives.

I'd much prefer a Teal or a Blue one but for $ after tax I can't argue!

This my third Ernie Ball guitar, and is currently one of the two that I own. The other one is a Silo Special in gunsmoke silver.

Just thought I'd fanfare the new arrival. :D

See, that's why I love this place. Instead of deleting the entire thread, and banning the poster for revealing the dealer price of the guitar, Jon simply deleted the price from the post.

Jon, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

Hey B2D, welcome to the forums. It is not allowed to post the dealers prices they have on EBMM guitars on the forums.

I have a supersport that looks nearly identical to that - and I picked mine up for next to nothing too... what's up with that? that color looks fantastic in person.

oooooh my bad my bad. I don't seem to remember seeing that in the general forum rules. I'll have to look over it again. Thanks.

To clarify a bit, I think the rule is only against posting dealer prices for *new* EBMM guitars.

If I'm not mistaken, it's OK to post the price of a used guitar, whether it's being sold by a forumite, eBayer or dealer.

It's understandable, as EBMM gives the dealers some discretion at setting their price point for new instruments. No sense in starting price wars on new guitars here on the forum and having dealers miss their opportunity to make whatever margin they need to make to stay in business.

Used gear is a whole other ballgame, though, because only the seller knows what they paid for the guitar, and the sellers aren't bound by any contract for those items.

It's a good and fair policy for the benefit of EBMM dealers. And we all want to see more shops carrying EBMM, right? :)
