Just a silly question out of curiousity:

Does any of you guys know where EBMM got the inspiration for naming his two other Axis models: "Sport" and "Super Sport"?? Don't you think this is kind of a silly name for a guitar?? :D

if you are from belgium.....Yes

I named both because the "sport" was a like a performance machine no extra weight just horsepower...the super sport was both beautiful and cool...I also own a 1967 Chevrolet SS396 Super Sport and there comes the car thing again i.e. Stingray etc

Hey BP,

what's wrong with being from Belgium? :D

On the other hand, I think guitars and cars have a lot in common. It's mostly or even solely men that drool over them, so I think you hit the right track. Surplus your father's old car collectoin you mentioned during the open house.

Pff, all the things I saw and held in my hands during the open house drive me mad. Yikes, I thought sticking to the Morse only would be cool, but I'm still in serious doubt/denial about that one :D :p :)

Keep it up there BP and EBMM folks, you've got the best of what a guitar factory could even want to offer.

Cheers, Tom.

Cool. I have to get an Axis SS now to go with my 2001 Camaro SS. (340 hp!)

Actually, considering that you have 10 times our population, I'm impressed at how many fellow Canucks are at this forum!

Tom I love belguim

I just got tired of picking on the Canadians!

Hm, I can live with that... :D :p :) , don't know about the Canadians though.

Sterling, you rock sir. Love you to death for the Open House which even made me cross the Atlantic once more.

Still trying to get things straight after the Open House, my Morses feel even better now knowing all the effort you put into them.

Thanks, Tom.

I know exactly what you mean Tom. Since coming back from SLO every time I pick up one of my EBMM's I think about the care/time/effort/creativity that went into each and every one of them.

It makes me proud that I was given the opportunity to see behind the scenes and has heightened my respect for the brand (not that it needed it!).
