Off Topic Instruments on Music Man site

Hey all, what happens to the instruments that are shown as examples on the MusicMan site? Are they sent to dealers for regular sale, or are they kept at the factory in case a new photo needs to be taken or what? This thought just popped into my head and I'm curious. But then, it's late and I should be in bed with visions of Sterling5's and 25th Anniversary basses dancing in my head!.

I think it depends on which one they took a picture of. The BFR threads that Dargin posts in have awesome photos and they all go to dealers.

the 25th anniv's arent out yet so those pics are of the original runs for NAMM etc so I bet those are in the vault.

but the SR4's etc and other "standard" instruments are probably pics of instruments that were shipped to dealers.

but... Im just guessing
