<div class="bbWrapper">Very cool idea, but £499???<br /> <br /> <a href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&amp;category=4713&amp;item=7314922108&amp;rd=1" target="_blank" class="link link--external" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&amp;category=4713&amp;item=7314922108&amp;rd=1</a></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">There was an auction for a F*nd*r J bass with that kind of neck a while ago. I popped by a F*nd*r forum and asked about it (To ask about the fretboard, nothing else! Please, no demerits!). It&#039;s cool, but it turns out it&#039;s not worth the hassle. ...And at ~500 pounds sterling (~$1K US), I agree!</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I can&#039;t imagine setting the intonation on that thing, or how you can have it &quot;close enough&quot; up and down the fretboard with a magnetic fretboard.<br /> <br /> But, I also imagine &quot; How are we going to keep the intonation with a magnetic fretboard even remotely accurate?&quot; would have to be the first question anwsered when designing such a system. So, who knows?<br /> <br /> Could be cool if you lived in such a way that you could only have one bass. <b>Nomadic Motorcyclist </b> springs to mind, but I don&#039;t know if there is enough money in it to afford a $1000 aftermarket neck.<br /> <br /> <br /> Hmmm.....</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Magnetic fretboard....sheesh, you don&#039;t think that pulls on the strings and ruins your sustain do you? IT&#039;S CRAP.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Can&#039;t imagine anything good coming from this product... Magnetic fretboard? Gimme a break!</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">If that really works I&#039;ll shut up and be happy for a decade <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f631.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt="" title="Eek!" data-smilie="9"data-shortname="" /> <br /> I must admit I seriously doubt that it works well .. I agree with the earlier comments <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f60e.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt="" title="Cool " data-smilie="6"data-shortname="" /> <br /> <br /> First thing that comes to mind, of course:<br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 18px">WHhaaat</span> <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f631.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt="" title="Eek!" data-smilie="9"data-shortname="" /> <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f615.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt="" title="Confused " data-smilie="5"data-shortname="" /> <br /> <br /> But hey, innovation is a good thing though. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f60e.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt="" title="Cool " data-smilie="6"data-shortname="" /></div>
