Hi guys,
first of all, hello everybody, this is my first post
I have got a question concerning my MM Axis SS (fixed bridge):
with d'addario strings and with pyramid strings (a german string-company) i had intonation problems with the 3rd string around the 3rd fret (for example the 'A' was too high). All other notes on all 6 strings were ok, but the A on the 3rd string always too high.
By the way: the guitar was set up correctly (octave-intonation was really fine).
Then i switched to EB Regular Slinky strings and the problem has gone.
Now my question: is it really the strings that can cause intonation problems like written above (which is REALLY STRANGE .... ) ?? And if so, what have EB Strings in relation to EB Guitars, which don't have other strings???
Bye, Max
