Hi, everyone. This is my first post in the EB forums, so I thought I'd say hello before I asked a question. I'm a regular on the TDPRI, so maybe some of you will know me from there (my handle is eryque).

I'm looking for some technical information on EB strings that I couldn't find on their website or by searching the forums. I'm hoping that one of you will know, or will at least be able to point me in the right direction.

I'm trying to find information on the mass per unit length of EB strings. Something like grams/centimeter or ounces/ft. I'm also trying to find the tension of the various gauges when tuned to pitch.

Does EB have this data published somewhere? D'Addario prints it all over the place, and I'm sure that someone at EB knows what it is, even if they don't advertise it much.

Thanks!

Hi, everyone. This is my first post in the EB forums, so I thought I'd say hello before I asked a question.. . . . . . . .
Hey Eric,
Welcome aboard the EBMM forum!! Yeah, you seem to have the same questions I have on strings. And, with the "desert" bash approaching, which includes the string factory tour, I am sure those answers may come out.

I will say however(and you probably already know this) that EB strings are the absolute "best" out there (especially the "classic rock" pure nickel!!) I always get asked by countless players about my tone (and although I really want to keep it a secret), I always end up mentioning the strings purposely and grudgingly last (and under my breath LOL). :)
