I have 2 silo specials and was waiting on a Cutlass edition but I walked into GC today and there was a MINT sunburst silo special hanging there for well under a grand, I couldn't believe it, it still had the stickers on it, needless to say its on a week layaway til I get a commission check, now I have 3 silo specials....Ill post pics when I grab it Friday, the other two are blue and black and this is the sunburst, great guitars on the lower end of the MM price spectrum but I have a soft spot for them like some of you guys with 12 or 13 axis's or JPs...

I love my Silo Spec... And it's just a boring "nothing to see here" white. It really is a great guitar with a ton of very useable sounds and just a great playing guitar in general. I can totally see owning several more if there wasn't so many other great models in the MM lineup right now.

Short answer: any finite number of Silo Specials cannot be too many.

Long answer: any finite number of Silo Specials cannot be too many.

Trust me, when you have a price "that good" you have to jump on it. I had 15 Musicman guitars at one point. Narrowed it down to 3... Then I caught wind of the HHAL and I gave into GAS again. The Silo was supposed to scratch my "strat" itch and it did... Now the last 2 NAMM shows have added 6 guitars to my GAS list...

No, you can never have too many silhouettes.
