Strange - the site does not seem to list a stereo cable. I know they did them cos Fingbeagles very kindly sent me one.

Now let's find that splitter ... ...

jeepers after spending a while trying to track down my post/thread showing my splitter box, I just can't find it!!

I may still have the photos/diagram on my p bucket account.
Here ya go

I found one at You-Do-It-Electronics for another guitar that needed it to bring power into the guitar. Line 6 also makes them for their Variax guitar, so they could be ordered from a retailer who sells Line 6 stuff. It's called a tip ring connector. If you want to make a splitter box, You-Do-It also had the 1/4" jacks.....mono and stereo.

Your best bet is really to learn to solder. Then you can make all the cables you need, plus all the misc connector boxes. It's pretty simple to get going.

I just built a patchbox for a pedalboard that lets me switch effects before the amp or in the FX loop. Dead simple, all done with TRS connectors and a switch. A bit of practice and you can make your own splitter, no problem.

I got my stereo cable from here: Guitar Cable

And I've used a couple different splitters. There's the EB splitter which is perfect for their guitars. Pete DuBaldo can get you one. And I also used a Switchcraft SC600 splitter for a while.

I had a hard time justifying adding an extra box to my signal path to split the stereo signal, so I built a splitter that also acts as an A/B box for the magnetic signal and use it to send my signal either to my tuner or on to my other effects and amp. That way I have just as much cable/ in and out jacks as if the tuner was in the signal chain like normal and I also get the benefit of a splitter box.

It's very easy to do and I quite like my little utility box.

What I would love is a stereo input A/B/Y box. With that I can use a stereo/TRS cable into it and switch between mags, piezo or both with my feet and leave my hands free to pick.

The other thing you could do is get the EB splitter box, and have a volume pedal for the piezo side. That way you can still use your hands to pick, and all your foot has to do is rock the vol pedal from full off to whatever level you want it at.

When I had a piezo setup (briefly), that's what I did. Worked pretty well.

I thought of that but it dosn't leave me hand free because all though i can bring up the volume of the piezo it doesn't kill the mag volume.

Yup you guys beat me to it. I remember Spud doing a thread about how he loved that pedal and he did a video with it. I looked it up over the weekend and it is perfect!
