Is Guthrie Govan the new Albert Lee

Wassup guys! I was watching an Albert Lee interview and I noticed how calm he is...he's got a relaxed vibe that kinda made me think of Guthrie when they are interviewing him. Later I saw a vid of him improvising over a "Cocaine" inspired chord prog and he was so fluid in his playing, so effortless...again made me think of Guthrie.

I saw Guthrie and the Aristocrats on Sunday night. What a gig. Entertaining on all levels. Marco and Bryan are comedy legends!!

Guthrie has a control over his guitar like I've never seen before. He is remarkable. He deserves his own place in Guitardom just as Albert has his.

If you get the chance, catch an Aristocrats gig. All 3 musicians are beyond reproach.
