IS it a good idea to install series/parallel switching on my sterling classic?

Hey Guys,

I bought a sterling classic 4. I love it!
I had a hard time choosing between to stingray classic tone and the sterling classic comfort...

Since the stingray is wired in parallel and the sterling in series. Does it make sens to install a push/pull volume pot for series/parallel switching on my new beloved bass? This way when needed the sterling will sound closer to a stingray....

That will not work for the sterling Classic Pickup is wired series right in the Bobbin, so no push/pull will work. Sorry just wanted to save you some Money.
