whilst having a good session comparing my 2 jp's today, i noticed that the tone of the middle position on the jp12 a quite bit different compared to the jp6.
now obviously the different fretboard and frets etc play a part, but it seems like theres less split coil character if you know what i mean. best way i can describe it is that it sounds more like the neck position but with less low end.
its not a bad thing, i was just quite surprised that they sound so different from each other in that position and wanted to clarify it with you guys
