Help! Is it oryginal Petruccis Ball?? :D

Hello guys, sorry if there was already such threat, but i couldn't find it... Anyway - one of my friends is getting married in september ( [*], rest in peace dude ), in fact he is first of my friends in my age who is about to get married, so wee all decided that we have to do something EPIC and since he is big Dream Theater fan, and guitarist as well...

...we decided that we make him a copy of Petrucci guitar But today I found this on Polish auction website:

When I look at neck, i don't have any doubts that's it's John's ball... but body? Is it real EBMM petrucci? I've played on old, pre "d-sonic" petrucci, but i can't remember what finish was that - I mean: all present red "petrucci standard" balls are finished with pearl redburst (just as mine, <3! ), but this is ordinary red... I don't want to buy cheap chinease copy, all in all I'm about to loose one of my friends

I'll mail the seller for a story of a guitar and serial number, but i'd like to know your oppinion about this guitar. Cheers from Poland and thanks for help!

Looks like the real thing to me. That color is probably Rolls Burgundy that was discontinued a while ago. That is a stripped down JP without the piezo, inlays and non matching headstock. Cool of you to do that for your friend man!

I don't think that the colour is Roll Burgundy, because it'd look darker (bit more brownish).

try to get the serial number and check here with Aziah about the original color. The color is not really a Music Man color to me but it could be because of the light, so you better
