The band Good Charlotte.

I've never heard any one diss the guitar. The player, well....uh.... It's essentially a single pickup silo spec with a unique 12th fret brass knuckles inlay. Easy to upgrade with more pickups. I had an OLP version before getting my first Sub 1 and the rest..... It's not a bad guitar at all.

If the player isn't your taste that's ok, but don't let that dissuade you from the quality and the sonic integrity of the instrument. It is essentially a 1 humbucker Silhouette, which is by all standards, an excellent instrument!

Heck, search earlier, Joe Walsh plays a BM Music Man. If it's good enough for him, it's more than enough for me. Enjoy your axe, it's a good one! Don't let others who slag another artist discourage you from trying an excellent instrument.

It's an EBMM and it's as stated before a single humbucker silo...

you honestly cannot go wrong. Congrats on the new guitar... you won't be disappointed.

Aaaahhhhh, the internet...a microcosm of life...I get it in guitars and everywhere I go. Experts. Qualifications? Computer ownership and an isp. I see it in BBQ and everywhere I go.

If you like our guitars and would like a well voiced single humbucking silhouette than I think you will be happy.

WE made very few of them and I would love to give every one who has played it and can tell me about it 10 dollars and everyone who publishes an opinion regarding it that has never seen it or play it would have to give me $20.00 I would be way ahead.

If your old man is buying you an EBMM for your birthday you should be incredibly greatful, great student guitar, and EBMM necks will help you as a player - I learned on some real crappy guitars, you've got a great head start.

I'd like to know who 'they' are. Like others here, I've never seen it trashed. From a feature standpoint, it's somewhere between a Sub1 and a Silo - both of which are excellent guitars. It's also go that great fingerprint-proof finish that I love on my Sub1. Play it and enjoy it!

who's they? and what bad do they say about it?

i think your most qualified group of people would be here on this forum. i don't remember seeing anyone here saying bad things about the guitar. though i did take a long break from the forum (because of reasons that BP touched on), so i may have missed something along the way.

these are good people here.......and even BETTER GUITARS! i too would be stoked if my father was buying me any EBMM.

rock it!

great student guitar.

Great student guitar? It's more than that. I think Mr. Walsh would agree.

Is it the Benji Madden Music Man or the OLP version, they do differ. The OLP is the lower end copy of the real thing.

The Madden MM was the first EBMM I tried, at Rockers (Music Ground) in London. I loved it, simple as that, but didn't even know it was a signature model at the time. I just remembered liking the neck, the humbucker and the way it sat. It has quality in spades too.

I remember a thread started a few weeks ago pertaining to the same subject, with a new forum member saying he hot a BM and liked it but did not think it was cool that the artist was dissed on these boards. As I recall I told him he must of been looking up some real old threads, as in the two years I have been on the forum I have not seen more that two threads about the guitar or anyone dissing him. I can say I have checked one out and they are cool as my friend Mike owns one, but they have been discontinued for a few years now correct?
