Question Is the Reflex available without chrome pick-up covers?

Does the Reflex always come with chrome pu covers or is it possible to order one without?

Interesting, my buddy took the covers off of his 25th and the pickups were all black.

Most of the Reflex that were run w/ the rare figured tops for GC will likely not have covers.

If I remember correctly the early Reflex models that went to Guitar Center didn't have pickup covers and had zebra pickups in them.

Never done it but supposedly this will change the tone noticeably. There was a thread on this a while back that included someone playing a 25th with the pickup covers removed.

Yep,
Hamilton Loomis (EBMM endorsee), took the covers off of his 25th. He swears that the tone is way different.
