Hi.

I just purchased my dream guitar from a Long & McQuade location in Scarborough, Canada on March 19, 2005. :D

I was told it would take at least 3-4 months before receiving it, which I understand without a problem.

I know its early in the game, but is there a way to track the progress somehow so I would have a more accurate idea when delivery would be made?

Sorry... Just anxious

I too ordred Axis Super Sport and am waiting.

I ordered it at Start of Febuary and was told 2-4 month. I called Last week(almost 2 month since the order) and told that production for my guitar didn't start yet.

So now I am wondering, upon start of production, How long does it take???
Or How long does it take to make A.S.S. If there was no line?

Deanster,
What configuration including color is your A.S.S?

you cant without causing a big inconvience to eb/mm. its a real pain in the arse for them to hunt down one guitar just so a person can know where it is. my advice to you would be to pretty much forget that they are making you a guitar and go on with your life. it will certainly make the wait seem less. but thats just my thought.

As skabassist said, GO ON WITH YOUR LIFE! I waited 3+ months for my JP-6 and tore all the hair out of my head during the process!! heheheheheh....

It is impossible for them to track it due to the amount of guitars they are building and you would only be in more pain with each step any how......they are doing you a favor by not telling you....hhehehheeheh...

BTW, pics will be mandatory upon arrival and Welcome to the addiction!

Second.

It is well worth the wait, Ernie Ball isn't a large corporate like say a certain company that begins with F. They don't crank out the guitars on a production line, You get quality and great service.

No idea when mine will arrive. An Axis with premium quilt. People say 5 months here , but others say 10 months minimum. Any idea folks? Don't need a progress report Jon so don't bother the workshop ;)

Yawn....

Ahhh I am now out of my "Zen like state" : ) It will be 3 months next week since ordering. The store I ordered the guitar from called EBMM and the sales guy said the group of guitar orders that mine was in, are getting built now and should be done in another 2 weeks + 1 week for delivery.

All I can say is.... WOO HOO! : )

I ordered my axis about a month and half ago. Seems longer than that but I try not to think about. Hopefully the when I order my second one ( and my third , fourth, fifth, ...well you get the picture) the wait wont seem as long because I can play my first one while i wait. :)

See there, I scrolled down to your post and three months past! LOL....time flew by.....AWESOME! The worst part for me was, my dealer, Bassplayr, called to tell me it was at his shop and he played it to "make sure it was all good...".....yeah......ok........but, the wait was worth it.......you shall soon see why my friend.

then...

wait some more....and then, just when you think you can't wait any longer....

wait.

If it makes yu feel any better, even Jon has to to wait (and he's the Prince of Petrucci, the Mayor of Morse, the Axis Aristocrat....you get the idea!) :p

Hey pal, I thought you fell off the map! (either that or you finally put me on your "blocked" list :D )
How's your Black axis-I am lovin' mine!!! How long did you have to wait for your Axis?
I'm in Canada, as you know, and mine took about 3 months (with premium top)

I am always here  I had to wait about 3 months for mine. I NEVER tracked the progress of it, because I know WHAT A PAIN it is for our customer service folk ;)

When I got it home, it played great right out of the box. Kudos to the guy that set it up

Hmmm...maybe I should send my Axis to that guy for a set up ;)
Actually, it's funny how since I got mine back, every other guitar is on the back burner (I feel like a neglectful father!)

:p Ya.... I am definately getting excited now, as this will be my first EBMM guitar. It's like I am prepping for a new family member arrival! :D

Had no idea that it was such a pain in the ass for the customer service guys.. the call seemed to take only a minute.... Kudos, to Customer Service! :)

...and knowing that Jon, has to wait too, is kinda cool, but you'd think he could "pull a few strings" heheh Sorry could not resist that one.... I know.... kill me now!
