This is probably not possible but I thought I would ask anyway. Would it be possible to order a Sterling HH in a color that is not currently offered? Specifically, Shoreline Gold. This color must not be very popular with any company but it is my absolute favorite and I would really love to add a Sterling in Shoreline Gold to my collection. If not, can anyone recommend someone to do a refinish? Thanks in advance for the replies.

I have heard a lot of good comments on him.

Used him exclusively for about 8 years now...not the fastest turn around but priced right and bar none the finest job out there. You kinda just have to send it off to him and forget about it for a while but what you get back will amaze you at a price you can afford!! Oh and strip everything yourself first and keep all your case candy because sometimes it'll get lost in the shop (honestly).

The best/cheapest refin man in the business in my vast yet humble experience is Michael Dolan in Santa Rosa, CA.

and by 'cheapest' Steve only means that Michael's refinish costs are very affordable, because the quality is top notch.

I have at least two Stingrays that Michael has refinished (refurbishing projects), and I have two or three more that will be heading his way.

If you can take the bass apart and put it all back together yourself, you will probably save some additonal $$ by just sending the body.

Cheapest = resonable and has nothing to do with quality in this context. The man also blows a mean sparkle finish but don't tell him I told you because he'll hunt me down and I don't want to see him outside my garage with silver sparkles all over him.

ps: Michael's wife Mary is my Ophthalmologist and hooked me up with my new "Biff" shades last fall.
