If you're looking for a quick sale, I would ask around $850. If you can wait a while get down to the mid $900 range. I have sold more than my share of EBMM's this year, and have found the economy is driving the price down in recent months.

Just my 2 cents.

Beautiful bass BTW :)

thanks for the thoughtful reply.

$850 seems rough because I'd be taking such a huge hit on the sale of a mint bass. darn.

i happily paid $900 which included shipping for my 07 H Sterling, it was in great cond, only wear was on the pg. if it were at $1000 i would have hesitated, its kinda like how car dealers price cars @ $4900 instead of $5000. Id try 950 just to get under the $1000 mark. and make shipping cheap or free.

I just posted a stingray 5H for sale shipped in hardshell case for $850. It is in very good condition also! Just trying to offer a fair price!

Very True. I was watching a Sterling auction last week, and some poor guys burnt orange Sterling only fetched about $700. It's hit or miss....I watch auctions, and I think that you have to time things perfect. I think that with more people getting paid every 2 weeks, you have to time when you'll list an item. I recently re-listed an American Deluxe Jazz bass(used to fund the purchase of my last Stingray), and managed to get $980 for it. I watched a couple of auctions a week prior, and they usually sold for $850-900.

I don't think people would pay $1000 for his Sterling....maybe $925-950 TOPS.....I could be wrong however.

I was told from the man I bought it from that it was made in 2000. Do you remember the serial number on yours?

Serial number is on the neck plate on mine E02242. No imperfection on the bridge, so it is probably a different one. I would also be interested in a trade for a Bongo 5 string.
