Looks like it, the only place it mentions OLP is the entry for the pickups.

That's a really bad paint job!!!!! Brents looks way better than that. :)

that's totally an OLP... i own an OLP which is one of my favorite guitars... it's (IMHO) rather unique... and plays better than any other OLP i've played.

I have an OLP as mentioned before and once I got it set up it's a fantastic guitar and I play it regularly with no problems with any part of the guitar...

I think the problem with this one is the fact that they are not saying it's an OLP and are trying to hide it.... that's where scammers come in and frustrate me to no end...

I can't tell for sure if it is an OLP [clearly it probably is]. Can someone send him a message and ask? If he says it is an OLP I will file a Compliant with EBay to have it removed.

Unless there is some way by looking at it you can definitely prove it is an OLP?

You can tell. The headstock never looks quite the same on an OLP, it has a Les Paul type toggle, and no pearloid schaller tuning pegs. Its an OLP.

I made this to back it up. The volume knob is also what my olp came with.

Most hilarious part of the auction besides the paint job.

"This bid starts low...but it must meet my reserve price due to the amount of money it cost to produce this AWESOME instrument! " :p

Evildoers, behold the power of the EBMM forum! :D

Hehe... I get such a kick out of this every time it happens (when bogus auctions get taken down), I love to see would-be con artists get theirs. You guys rock!

Sweet!!

I got this reply from the seller about getting some more info on it.

On the guitar question you asked about...yes I can get you pictures and SN#.

Last week ELVH had eBay remove the listing. I battled Eddie Van Halen's legal team...got them to let me re-list and now Ernie Ball shuts down the listing.

If you are interested in the guitar we might have to get creative.

LoL ... yea, I'd love a poorly painted OLP for $800 :p
