This just goes to show that pictures can be decieving. They don't always show the color correctly, colors change in different light etc...

It looks red to me as well in the pictures.

I just bought what looked like a BLUE quilt EBMMASS. Got it today, and it's much greener than the pictures on ebay showed. It looks more like Terquoise.

if you look at the headstock picture you can see it is pinkish, but at 4000.00 I dont think so, wow you can buy some KOA for that price or a couple of different BFR's.

I saw a Tran-pink EVH in 9.5/10 condition for $3200. Now, that guitar would be truely rare, since it is not in production anymore.

I know this Axis may be rare in this color today, but the Axis is still in production. You never know if BP will come out with a big run of Pink Axis' in the future, which would immediately de-value the guitar.

$4k, is too expensive any way you look at it.

The seller is only an hour away from me. I'd snag it if the price was within reason.

You never know. You may be able to talk him down. If his arguement is that the guitar is rare, bring up my earlier point that the Axis is still in production, and it's rarity depends on EBMM not making any more pink ones.

I'm doubtful he would take $1000-$1200. Which is what it is truly worth.
