Hey everyone!
Well you might have seen this footage before. I love the way Morse plays that, and I'm not that much familiar with his work yet, still getting there haha.

So do any of you know if that part he plays there is in one of his songs?
Or maybe you can suggest other tunes that have licks with that technique.
Throw all those you know of! I'd love to listen to more stuff like this. It just sounds heavenly!

Thanks.

The tune "Country Colors" off Steve's 1989 High Tension Wires album was the first thing that came to my mind. Not exactly that lick, but similar. A must-have album if you are a Morse fan!

Steve is using a technique of classical guitar. If you want to hear this technique in a classical context, try to find Alborada from Tarrega.
On YouTube you can find this :

It's not the best interpretation (I have a wonderful one on a CD somewhere ... if I remember well played by Narcisso Yepes)

You also have one of his greatest tunes from Southern Steel "Vista Grande". If you are getting into Morse just now, I HIGHLY suggest to get ALL of his solo albums, lock yourself in a room for the weekend and listen to everything hehe :D.
