No fake. This is a original Blue Dawn sparkle issue in 200? .The 2007 is a re-issue with a 2007 inlay in the 12th fret.

By the way, welcome to the forum.

Blue Dawn was offered from 2001-2002, and again in 2007 as a Limited Edition. The original color was offered with optional matching headstock, while the 2007 LE came with a matching headstock as standard.

Provided the serial number of the guitar is in the G15000-G20000 range, I wouldn't worry about it being fake - it is most likely real.

Welcome aboard.

Not a fake, Blue Dawn was a production color until the end of 2002. The color was revived for the 2007 Ltd. Ed.

Okej, thank you very much! :)

This one will probably be my first music man! What do you think about the guitar overall?

The natural headstock is/was always available. A matching, painted headstock is considered an upgrade on the regular JP.
