Hehe....Ok. Good point.

My comment was supposed to be focused on the quality of THE MUSIC. I guess I got sidetracked. :p

Its not like its a new thing, GIbson's and PRS's have been all over country for well over 10 years now, more so than Tele's, the style of music has changed so has the guitars. I dont see the big deal. Martina's band sounds bloody awesome to me, her last live dvd is stunning.

Okay, maybe I opened up a can of worms I shouldn't have. I definitely didn't mean to stir up a hornets' nest. It also appears I was wrong in some of my observations about Nashville. That said, I was speaking from my own perspective. But, please accept my apologies here....

Nuke the thread if it needs it....

I have seen Jo Dee Messina use an Axis Super Sport. I think there's even a video.

its just coincidence...PRS makes fine guitars but Gibson is king every where these days and fender is a super prince....

Well, I guess I shouldn't have brought it up anyway as the other manufacturers aren't here to speak or defend themselves. You're right BP, PRS makes very nice guitars; but everytime I see the price, I choke a little....

There was a time not long ago that I decided to give PRS a good go, i tried and tried but just couldnt come to grips the cost and my hands just didnt love them, and the fact that my AL's just kicked ass without even trying!!!!!!!!!! Now, why dont more Nashville dudes play AL's.......

Nashville is really selling the image right now. Country guys with half-stacks? Just wait until Nashville goes country 80's style, with big-hair, makeup, and large rack systems... ;)

I bet Nashville guys do play Als, just in the studio exclusively...as with other Balls.

I never played a PRS I liked, they just feel dead somehow, I think it's the weird scale- doesn't vibrate the way I like or something.

My wife is a huge fan of modern country ( :( ) and it really is by and large so unbelievably paint by numbers that it's amazing. Everytime some "new" song that she loves comes on, I can't help but remind her that it's lyrically and structurally THE SAME as the last song she loved. Then she gets frustrated with me :D

I owned a PRS SC245 that I absolutely loved. Sold it the day after I played my first BFR to finance the BFR. I literally went from never thinking about or having played an EBMM guitar to selling my guitars off and buying nothing but EBMM Petrucci's. I'm not even a Dream Theater/John Petrucci fan lol. To me EBMM guitars are the best kept secret in the guitar world.

Never cared for PRS guitars myself. Just never felt I could rock out on one.
My friend has a single cut one that is quite nice but it just ain't me.
