I just got a call from my dealer saying that my JP-6 arrived today! I'm on my way to pick it up. I'll post pics as soon as I take some. My first ever EBMM guitar... it feels good to be part of the family :)

Thanks for the wishes everyone.

So I picked up the guitar in the store, and like my good friend Sundar (on this forum) adviced me, I tried the guitar out with a tube amp(Mesa Boogie triple rectifier head and 4x12 Mesa cabinets). This guitar is simply one amazing piece of work. It plays like butter. The setup was perfect, and there was no fret buzz whatsoever. I think someone once mentioned here that the guitar virtually plays itself, and that is true. I havent been able to put it down except to take pictures. The pics can be found at

(This link works now :D )

@Phatduckk: Congratulations on your new aquisition.

@Sundar: Thanks dude. Hopefully I'll get to see your Morse guitar over this weekend :)

Let's hear three cheers to the entire EBMM team for making and delivering a true work of art.!

Dude, I just tried calling you. No response. I am wondering whether I should
(1) call up 911 and have them to check up on ya to see if you survived your JP6 :D
(2) also cancel the Dixie Dregs/Steve Morse Band tickets that I booked for you since you can't very well leave your JP6 behind and fly down here to SF.

Welcome to the JP club, gentlemen.

I expect your postings will decrease substantially, as you will not be putting down those new guitars to surf the 'net. ;)

If you don't like yours and decide to sell them right away, let me know.

So what colors and options are we talking about here?

Woooops! I dont understand why it's not allowing the general public to access the pics. I chose the "public viewing" option or something like that. However, I'll try to do something better so that everyone gets to see the pics soon :)

Maybe I should get my JP-6 along to SF. That way I get to see the Dregs as well as play the guitar :D

Thanks Steve. I got a JP-6 in Pearl Redburst with just the barebones features (No inlays, peizo etc)
