I caught a glimpse of something at my door when I pulled in from work today. Didn't think anything of it (wasn't due till Saturday). Got out of my car and walked over..... yeah!!!

Took a couple of photos to share with my brothers here. Went inside and plugged it in. Surprise! Man, it has a hot output! Hotter than my Bongo's 18volt preamp. Not saying one's better than the other, just a quick observation. Wanted to hear that mwah... it's got it. It's strung with Elixir rounds. Sounds good but will probably replace those with flats soon.

Gotta go, baby needs attention.

It's all tricked out with piezos and a MOTO PG! Nice!

Just got it and it's really too early to give you a detailed description. Definately adds tone options. You dial in a mix of the magnetic pickup or the piezo. But with roundwounds I'm not getting a real thumpy acoustic upright sound. But that's what I'm going for, so I'm changing to flats in the near future.

I am sure happy to see she arrived safe and sound.

Yeah, those Elixirs are pretty tinny and lack alot of depth, but they last a long time. Try the flats. They sounded real nice with Piezos, but I could not get the tone I wanted from the magnetic pickup with them.

Roger, this must have set a record for delivery time. What, 2 days? Thanks for letting go of this one for me. May your next fretless bring you nirvana, like this one has for me.

That thing looks amazing! Congrats, Freddy. We'll need to hook up again in the near future. I just got home from a great gig with my fretless Bongo. I love the piezos with flats. You should play Moby to see what you think of the Sadowsky flats. Jim Rubio has them at the Atlanta Bass Gallery for a good price.

Of course, you can't go wrong with TI Jazz Flats, either.
