Early this year, I got my first fretted Sterling...I'm with you Travis--don't know why I didn't catch on earlier. Nothing against my SRs & Bongoes, but the Sterling is the one if find myself reaching for.

You know Fred, before I joined the forums my main bass was a Sterling. It was my 3rd Ernie Ball and I loved that bass. I used it on the road for almost 2 years and recorded my first real studio album with it when I was 18 or 19. It was white sparkle too.

Very nice, congrats! A few questions for ya:

1> How did you get the figured neck? Did you order/pay extra for it, as an upgrade, or was it sort of luck of the draw?

2> How are you able to attach files of that size? I have a total limit of 100K. Does it increase with member status?

There was no actual upcharge for any figured neck or anything. It's luck of the draw.
