The only thing better than StingRay day.........is Bongo Day! I know your excitement! Sure looks like a beaut! Wish my tuning keys were that clean!
Hmmmm.....the flecks of gold in an abalone pickguard would take that baby to a new level! w00t!

Looks like it still has its original strings. Well, they look like EBs anyway.

No, we didn't trade. I'm partial to Stingrays over Bongos - but no, we didn't trade - I bought his brand new Stingray for $850. I'm assuming he's using that towards a new Bongo.

A Mint condition, Brand New SR for $850!! I'm happy! :D :D :D

Bongo Fever.

Catch it.

Seriously, I mean I know I'm Lord Bongo and all, but the Bongo is an entirely different animal (as compared to the Stingray) while retaining some of the qualities we know and love.

Some will prefer Stingrays. Some will prefer Bongos.

I love 'em both but am pretty firmly in the Bongo camp. This doesn't mean I can't appreciate and love my Stingray 5 - or that new Medallion Gold that Chris has.

It's very pretty.

Ah - I see. We didn't trade - He did. I see what you're saying.

But still - Like I said - I perfer my SR over my Bongo. Not that there's anything wrong or bad about the Bongo. Just my preference.

There's a certain "something" that the Stingray has that no other EB bass has. Though all EB basses are top shelf...
