Anyone else notice that as soon as your strings start going dead on an SR5 the tone reeeeeeally starts to bite??(still a GREAT BASS) anywho, off to get strings somewhere in this Maritime town. Did get a chance to try out the new Eden 210XST for the past week-end.... good cab, not as boomy as an XLT and more lo-end togetherness but I'm not sure if it still takes a low B well enough when turned up.

( Any of our British bretheren had a chance to try out any Phil Jones Bass products???? )

I didn't mind the Traveller 550 head but the dead string thing was really getting to me. It did get fairly hot and the fan never seemed to come on but could be well within operating specs.

ciao!
